November 5th – Nate Hamilton

KASANA offers a new cooking class every Monday, with special guest chefs and changing themes.  One Monday, November 5th, KASANA welcomes guest chef Nate Hamilton, from Harvest Restaurant in Madison!

Bio:

Originally from Greendale, WI, Nate Hamilton spent seven years cooking in Chicago. including stints at Spiaggia and Aria. He moved to Madison in 2008 to be a line cook at Harvest Restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin, and was promoted to head chef in July of 2011. His inspiration comes from the wide variety of incredible products from local farmers, as well as Wisconsin’s rich culinary traditions.

Menu:

Nate will prepare for us some of the One of the first things that comes to mind when Nate thinks of home is his mom’s chicken pot pie, the perfect comfort food at this time of year with its chilling days and lengthening nights.  Nate will pair this with a butternut squash soup with apple cider, and an apple brown betty for dessert.
